Epistles of ChristHi dearly beloveds!
I am most glad to see that this blog is still a blessing to many. I'm still getting emails and responses from the entries here. It is wonderful to see how Jesus can impact many, even in something as humble as this blog.
We are all the bearers of THE Good News, the Letters of Christ Himself. It's whether you know it or not. But i choose to be aware of it most of the time. I do forget, yes. But for the most part, i'm most glad that i've been imparted with the knowledge of this verse shared by Pastor some time back.
2 Corinthians 3:3 clearly you are an epistle of Christ, ministered by us, written not with ink but by the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of flesh, that is, of the heart.
So, go out there, Shine, be a Blessing, walk with this knowledge that you ARE the Letters of Christ Himself!

Dear brother in Christ I want to encourage and thank you for this testimony you are sharing.
It is a reality we have to understand that our ethnicity is tied to a certain religion, but it is so encouraging to hear of the gospel reaching ALL.

I'm a 63 yr old Malay Muslim from Malaysia. I've been reading your blog as I find it interesting. In my younger days when I was a student in Australia I became quite curious about Christianity. As I was in a presbyterian boarding school there,I had to attend church every Sunday mornig and chapel every Sunday night for a good two years.
When I came back I restudied Islam and compared it with Christianity. There were lots of things that I didn't know about Islam before, but after rediscovering it through an 80 yr old teacher (I was 25 then)..I found deeper understanding of how glorious Islam is and how misunderstood.
Alhamdulillah, praise be to The Creator whose name is Allah, who bore no begotten son but revealed His message thru His last Messenger Muhammad (peace be upon him) and His holy prophets like Jesus (peace be upon him) to guide mankind to know Him and love Him, I'm stilla Muslim and will forever be a Muslim. The word Islam means nothing else but Love and submission to the One True Creator and being a Muslim (a word which is a derivative of the word Islam) means I am one who submit to Him and no one else.
Permit me to share with you the words of Cat Stevens :
"I did not come into contact with any Muslim before I embraced Islam. I read the Qur'an first and realized no person is perfect, Islam is perfect, and if we imitate the conduct of the Holy Prophet... we will be successful.
I found a religion that blended scientific reason with spiritual reality in a unifying faith far removed from the headlines of violence, destruction and terrorism.
I looked at some of the statues of Jesus; they were just stones with no life. When they said that God is three, I was puzzled even more but could not argue. I believed it, simply because I had to have respect for the faith of my parents.
I suppose that the media and their portrayal of Islam and the almost tribal separations and divisions of the Muslims are the greatest issues confronting Muslims in the United Kingdom.
I was brought up in the modern world of all the luxury and the highlight of show business. I was born into a Christian home.
I've returned to being an amateur without any ties or strings attached, which gives me a freedom I never had before.
I've studied various schools of thought... I acknowledge that some Muslims consider music prohibited, but I've found a lot of evidence from the life of the Prophet to show that he allowed certainly, but even encouraged, music at certain times.
If you want to sing out, sing out, and if you want to be free, be free, cause there's a million ways to be, you know that there are.
In a World where people are surrounded by darkness, ignorance and fear, it is a sign of hope to be celebrating Islam's message of peace and light, and the last great Messenger, born and chosen to deliver them to all mankind."

Wow! This is an encouraging blog... it's really rare to find a Malay Christian (though my church has one Malay brother... but, seriously, yes, pretty rare). Take care and God bless!
